The Gilmer Institute of Learning

The Gilmer Institute
Formerly The Rance R. Willis Educational Foundation
The mission of the Foundation was to strengthen the organization by providing support to our members and chapters through:
- Educational Opportunities
- Leadership Training
- Technical Assistance
- Financial Assistance
The question was how does SGMP re-tool and outfit a part of its organization that has served its members well, but now must meet the demands of a larger membership, ever-changing educational and leadership needs and funding of top programs to meet our industry needs?
SGMP National Headquarters together with the SGMP National Board of Directors and the membership of SGMP voted and approved a new bylaw creating The Gilmer Institute of Learning.

Chapter Programming and

All SGMP Chapters may provide Continuing Education Units to their members through their monthly programs. SGMP has five programs which are nationally approved, and can be presented by any qualified speaker. These programs are available for download in the next section below. Additionally, chapters may develop their own program presentations and provide them to their members for CEU credit. THESE PROGRAMS MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE OF PRESENTING TO THE MEMBERSHIP. The links below are guidelines explaining this process, as well as the forms that are required to submit an original program for approval:
