Rance R. Willis Planner Development Scholarship

The planner scholarships provided in his name afford the opportunity for planner members to attend the National Education Conference (NEC) for education and professional development. The scholarship is also intended to improve the return on investment during the NEC for our supplier and planner attendees by providing enhanced networking opportunities and a forum for collaborating with other government colleagues during the NEC.

Rance R. Willis Supplier Development Scholarship

The supplier scholarships provided in his name afford a special opportunity for SGMP’s supplier members to attend the Supplier Strategy Boot Camp course that is presented on-site and just prior to the NEC. The training and discussion in these sessions give guidance to best practices with government planners and to properly understanding the tools and resources available to identify and bid on government business. SGMP suppliers are truly appreciated in the organization and it is important to aid them in their professional development.

Scholarship Opening & Closing Information

The scholarship application period will open November 1, 2011 and close December 1, 2011. Submissions must be received by December 1, 2011 to be considered.
