Green Meetings Certificate Program

Anyone who has ever organized a conference or meeting knows the monetary and environmental costs involved in such an undertaking. In an effort to incorporate green meeting practices into more public settings, SGMP created this program to provide a comprehensive certificate program for our members.

Starting with 10 Easy Steps to Greening Your Meeting, this course will take you, step-by-step, through every part of the green meeting planning process—from location and major venue selection to transportation and to food and beverage options. The course includes a pre-class assessment on your how green your meetings really are currently, so you can get the most out of the session.
