SGMP has long been the primary education source for government meeting professionals. Our mission & objectives are based solely on education. And SGMP formed the Gilmer Institute of Learning to providing support to our members and chapters through educational opportunities. The CGMP program represents the pinnacle of our Society's education.

The biggest annual event in the government meetings industry is SGMP's National Education Conference (NEC), where we feature exceptional speakers and hours of educational sessions every year. But the Gilmer Institute of Learning has also developed several educational programs for our chapters to utilize that are approved for CEU credit.
