The Nominations & Elections Committee appreciates the commitment and dedication that each member of the national leadership team-elect has for SGMP. A special thank you to all the candidates who placed their name in the hat to serve in a leadership capacity.

As you know, SGMP's Nominations & Elections Committee is responsible for arranging and overseeing national elections consistent with SGMP bylaws and policies. Our charge was to seek, evaluate and validate qualified national board candidates, create a balanced list of approved candidates on which the membership can vote, and ensure a fair and equitable election process. The committee is confident that all of the actions taken in this process have been the right and proper thing to do on behalf of SGMP. My sincere appreciation to the committee members for their personal time and dedicated support.

The National Board-Elect and GIL Trustees-Elect will be sworn into office at the 2021 National Education Conference on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Their term of office runs from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023.
