Upcoming Courses

The Certified Government Meeting Professional designation ("CGMP") is designed for planners and suppliers whose work is governed by the rules and regulations of the federal government. Individuals who have earned their CGMP have obtained the highest designation available that is specifically for government meeting professionals.

You must be an SGMP member in good standing to participate in the class and exam, and you must be able to document at least one year of experience in the hospitality industry.  If you have been a member of SGMP for less than 6-months, please send a resume documenting at least your experience in the meetings/hospitality industry to education@sgmp.org.The $649 registration fee includes the five half-day training sessions ($354), the CGMP manual ($95), and and the exam ($200), that is administered the Monday following the class. In order to sit for the exam, you must attend all five days of the course.  SGMP does not accept a purchase order or SF-182 (Training Request) for payment.  Only check and credit card payments are accept.

NOTE:  Cancellation of your registration within two weeks before the class may result in the forfeit of all or part of the registration fee.  This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
