During this webinar, you will explore what diversity and inclusion in the meetings and event space should look like. Answering the hard questions, having hard conversations to reach one common goal - inclusion for all. Hospitality and tourism are extremely diverse and the boards and events space should reflect that as well.
Our speaker, LaToya Williams, MBA, independent contractor for HelmsBriscoe, event planning business owner and board member for multiple organizations, will provide details on starting and continuing the conversation around diversity and inclusion and will open up the presentation for Q&A.
This webinar will cover these important questions:
- Why is diversity and inclusion important - now more than ever before?
- How can I help embrace the initiative as a board member, employee or business owner?
- How to start the conversation and why it is necessary?
- Can I answer yes to 3 important questions - Are the boards I serve on diverse? Am I asking questions and seeking out diversity? Am I ok with being a part of the diversity and inclusion initiative?
- Can I have this conversation with clients and how?
