As event managers/planners we need to know the difference between risk management and emergency preparedness, and how to do both for the safety of our attendees. Do understand what the term "due diligence" means? Do you know what tools you have available to you to understand if the location is a risk or safe? What kind of emergency plans should you as the meeting planner have in place? This session will help you identify the following:
- Identify How to assess potential locations for risk management.
- Emergency plans that every meeting planner should have in their files.
- What to have in place in the event of an emergency.
