SGMP has long been the primary education source for government meeting professionals -- our mission and objectives have always prioritized education. SGMP formed the Gilmer Institute of Learning to provide support to our members and chapters through educational opportunities. The CGMP program represents the pinnacle of our Society's education.

The biggest annual event in the government meetings industry is SGMP's National Education Conference (NEC), where we feature exceptional speakers and hours of educational sessions every year. The Gilmer Institute of Learning has also developed several educational programs for our chapters to utilize that are approved for contact hours.
