Panel Discussion: Advance your career by earning a CGMP Designation

This lively panel session is a collaboration of SGMP Western Alliance (the Arizona, Rocky Mountain, & Golden State Chapters). In this session, you will learn about the Certified Government Meeting Professional designation, why it is important, how you can begin your certification, and who you can contact to learn additional details that you my like to know about the process. Our panel members are current CGMPs and are excited to share with you on how they prepared for the exam, the process of earning and keeping the designation, and how being a CGMP has help their careers. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists, and if we have extra time we will play a fun round of "Are You Smarter Than A CGMP".

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport - Operations Updates & Airfield Tour

Cost: Free - Registration is capped at 20 total participants

This in-person only meeting will provide updated information about the facility operations at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This interactive presentation and tour is hosted by SGMPAZ member, Jason Gitkin, Community Outreach & Event Manager, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Programming will begin with a brief welcome and chapter update from SGMPAZ President, Jamila Brown, followed by a 20 minute presentation on PHX facility operations and travel updates. Attendees will then go through TSA security (MUST BRING REAL ID) and led to busses for an Airfield Tour, highlighting behind the scenes daily airport operations. At the end of the tour we will take a group photo and then be taken to Terminal 4 for a no-host lunch (optional - attendees may depart after tour if not participating in the networking session).
