The May 2024 CGMP class will take place prior to the National Education Conference at the Hilton Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. You do NOT need to sign up for the conference to register for the course, however you may also register for the conference & course simultaneously. If you would like to register for BOTH, please fill out the NEC registration form.

Saturday, May 4 - 1:00pm-5:00pm
Sunday, May 5 - 9:00am-6:00pm
Monday, May 6 - 9:00am-6:00pm
Tuesday, May 7 - 9:00am-10:00am (review) 10:00am-12:00pm (Exam)

Your registration fee includes the course, examination, and textbook. It does not include travel, lodging, or meals. 

Course Details

• You must attend all days of instruction to be eligible to take the examination.
• NOTE:  Cancellation of your registration within two weeks before the class may result in the forfeit of all or part of the registration fee.  This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

In order to take the CGMP Class and exam you must have an active SGMP membership, and at least 12 months full-time experience in the hospitality industry; individuals registering to take the class must have experience in basic meeting and event planning.
