Join the NATCAP chapter and SGMP for this webinar covering the paperwork side of official travel: getting a travel authorization approved (including personal vehicle use), assembling a complete travel folder, understanding a hotel credit card authorization form, and correctly reporting travel expenses, with a close look at the parking-on-the-folio-but-paid-personally rule. While the examples loosely draw on Louisiana's state travel regulations, the underlying principles apply across state and federal travel policy, including the GSA, helping attendees from any jurisdiction avoid the documentation gaps that most often delay reimbursement.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:
All official chapter education programs are submitted to National Education for approval. As a result, education events are eligible for CGMP CEU credits.

SGMP NATCAP has been approved by the Events Industry Council (EIC) as a Preferred Provider of the above-listed continuing education courses, which qualify for CMP continuing education credit. Determination of continuing education credit eligibility or Preferred Provider status does not imply EIC’s endorsement or assessment of education quality.

CANCELLATION POLICY (In Person Events):
As a non-profit organization we understand that work can interfere with the ability to join SGMP NATCAP for various events. Part of the reason the SGMP NATCAP Board of Directors voted to charge for attendance, this education year, was the high frequency of both in-person and virtual no-shows that resulted in unused resources. Due to this new cancellation policy refunds will not be eligible if you are unable to attend a registered event unless cancelled within 72 hours prior to the event start date. Like events can only transfer to like events (i.e. education to education, networking to networking). Cancellations within 72 hours and no-shows will not be transferred to a new event.
